Harrah UMC has a Sunday morning class for everyone. From infants to the young at heart, there is a class prepared to help everyone grow in their knowledge of the Christian faith.
Children’s Classes
0-3 Yr. Old Children Learning the Bible in playtime! Using Toddlers & Twos curriculum, this class teaches Bible lessons through simple Bible storis, songs, learning games, and learning/play activities such as: blocks, art, music, dramatic play, body movement, science experiments, shapes and textures, and age-appropriate worship. Our nursery staff lead this class in the nursery room. 3 ½ year olds may be ready for the Preschool Class.
Preschool-1st Grade Using Rock Solid curriculum, this class builds hearts of faith that will be a strong foundation for life! Each Sunday, the children will be invited to have a personal faith experience with God through Bible stories, games, music, crafts, themed snacks, age-appropriate worship, and take home activities. This class gives the children a complete overview of the Bible in three years.
2nd-5th Grade Using Rock Solid curriculum, this class continues to build hearts of faith through contemporary topics that speak to their lives today. The class includes puzzles, dramas, games, and activities that support independent learning and reasoning skills, as well as interaction that encourages friendships among the children and trust in their leader.
Youth Class
6th -12th Grade Examine timely, relevant issues as well as important faith issues. Work through dilemmas, talk about serious questions, and find solutions through the scripture. Using Faith in Motion curriculum, this class gives teens a running start toward and active, lifelong faith.
Adult Classes
Seekers This multigenerational class is home to many young adults. Using various books to talk about current faith issues, the Seekers are currently using Patrick Bishop's Parralel Gospels in Harmony.
Bethlehem
Trinity This multigenerational class is home to many older adults. Using various books to encourage a deeper faith, Trinity is currently using James W. Moore’s O Say Can You See?: Biblical Stories About Spiritual Blindness.
