cretary- Brenda Clear Brenda Clear was born and raised in the Oklahoma City and State Center bottom area. She graduated from Harrah High school in 1973 and married Lonnie Clear on Valentine's Day of 1982. She has three daughters, Chanda, Juli, and Kristi, and four grandchildren, Brook, Andy, Logan, and David. Brenda retired from the Department of Public Safety after 27 years of service and is now our church secretary.
Treasurer- Shirley Thompson Shirley (Gray) Thompson grew up in Buffalo, Oklahoma and moved here after marrying Harrah native, Alvin Thompson. They raised their three daughters, Patti (deceased), Connie, Nancy, here in Harrah. She co-owned Flowerland Florist in Harrah for 40 years. She feels as though she began serving as the church’s treasurer in 1901 .
Youth Director- Church members and staff are currently working with our youth. Our youth are growing in their faith and having a great time while we search for new leadership to serve among them.
Music Director-Tish Willis Tish is originally from Hobbs, NM. She came to Oklahoma to attend OCU where she earned a Masters in Musical Theater. Tish teaches music at Virginia Smith Elementary, and her husband Greg teaches Physics at Harrah High School and is the Head Football Coach. She also instructs voice at their home, where they raise their son, Connor, and daughter, Sutton. She began directing the chancel and bell choirs in September, 2007.
Organist- Norma Clark Norma (Shelton) Clark grew up in Harrah. She and her husband, J.O., now deceased, have lived various places while raising their daughter, Cindy (also deceased), and two sons, J.O., Jr., and Clay. She loves bringing her grandchildren to church with her. She grew up playing the piano and instructs piano in her home in Choctaw, yet serves as the church’s organist. She loves to play exciting arrangements of traditional church music and spirituals. The church is moved and called by her spirited selections.
Pianist- Gaila Tennison
Custodian- Lila Henderson Lila has served as a custodian at McLoud Public Schools for many years, with glowing accolades from her supervisors. She began serving as Harrah UMC’s custodian in the Spring, 2009. Our building is always ready for ministry because of the tireless work she does behind the scenes.
Nursery Attendants Sarah, Jessie, and Allix attend Harrah High School and love working with our infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
